About Kendall Thurston, APRN-C
Kendall is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical foundation in medical dermatology, adult and pediatric primary care, and critical care nursing. She brings a well-rounded background that blends patient-centered care, clinical precision, and a passion for skin health.
Kendall earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program through the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her advanced training included extensive clinical rotations in adult primary care, pediatric primary care, and medical dermatology, equipping her to care for patients across the lifespan.
She has been a Registered Nurse since 2020 and gained valuable experience working as an ICU Registered Nurse at Shands Hospital, where she developed strong clinical judgment and skills in managing complex medical conditions. Kendall also served as a Registered Nurse at MidState Skin Institute, further deepening her expertise in dermatologic care and reinforcing her commitment to the specialty.
Kendall is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Florida, and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
Outside of the clinic, Kendall enjoys traveling, spending time near the water, a crisp McDonald’s Diet Coke, and making memories with her husband and three beautiful children.
